 Hand Models and the energy of "Twice As Quit"!

Australian based post-punk, alternative rock band, Hand Models released their latest single "Twice As Quit" back in October 2023!

"Twice As Quit" is raw, groovy post-punk track, being build upon a strong, dominating bass line, going into an intense chorus with pounding drums. All these creates a fierce atmosphere, along with the catchy, sharp guitar riffs and the beautiful vocals. Hand Models sounds like they have too much energy that needs to find its way to our speakers. "Twice As Quit" is one of the songs that gives a slice of that new wave, post-punk energy to the listener. 

Lock Knowles comments on "Twice As Quit": "The song twice as quit was one of the first songs Darcy and I sat down and wrote together. It was probably about two days after I had to pay about 2k to fix something that went wrong with my car after rear-ending a lecturer's Kia Sportage at the University..."

Formed by front man Lock Knowles, Hand Models take aim at filling the gap in the Australian music scene with post-punk energy paired with cavernous vocals, screeching guitars and a dense rhythm section led by Mack and Darcy. With a stiff goose in their step on stage, they’ve already proven to be a sight for sore eyes through their recent antics all over the Newcastle scene.
