"Sad Pisces" is the debut work of noise rock, post-punk project aeonatan!

aeonatan comes from the cold landscapes of Finland and was introduced to the world with the beautiful "Sad Pisces" in November 2023. aeonatan is the solo project of a Finnish musician/producer Jonatan Stenfors, experimenting with shoegaze, industrial and post-punk.

"Sad Pisces" engages the most melodic parts of some A Place To Bury Strangers influence with the dark noise pop of Dive (jpn), some dreamy shoegaze lines and a dose of post-punk sharp guitar riffs. The result makes "Sad Pisces" a melancholic soundtrack of a grey day that is full of vigorous vocals and distorted images through its guitar chords. By the end of "Sad Pisces" there is taste of bleakness left in the air around you!

 As the lead single from his upcoming debut album "nihil", it lays heavily on its shoegaze, noise rock and post-punk influences. It incorporates layers of chaotic guitars, backed by driving drums and bass keeping the track in focus, and in the center of it all echo soft lead vocals that self-reflect on depression. “Sad Pisces” is beautiful noise for self-deceiving romantic nihilists.
