Antipole is one of the bands we love in ElektroSpank with their addictive, melancholic guitar journeys, performed by the man behind the Norwegian dark wave proect, Karl Morten Dahl.
Ja'kob is no other than the 15 years old, son of Karl Morten Dahl, real name Jakob Viberg-Dahl who 's making his first steps in this magical world of music, playing a really emotional, somber and dark guitar riff next to his own father. Karl Morten Dahl. ANtipole's music and sound has been always building a dark sonic experience with Dahl's unique and elegant style of guitar playing, while he included a numerous of quality collabs in Antipole's albums.
"Walk With Me" is a captivating blend of dark wave, cold wave, and post-punk, delivered by the three artists, Karl, Ja'kob and Pedro Code from IAMTHESHADOW in vocals. The track is driven by a hypnotic, reverb-drenched guitar line that evokes the melancholic mood of post-punk, with a bassline that depicts the cold elements which blend with the gloomy drum beats. Vocally, "Walk with Me" is haunting and emotionally charged. Pedro Code's deep, resonant voice fits perfectly with dark soundscape created by the melancholic melody.
Antipole is the moniker of guitarist Karl Morten Dahl based in Trondheim, Norway.
Working with multiple producers and artists his music is always instantly recognizable by guitar-driven, melancholic and hypnotic post-punk/darkwave atmosphere and melodies.
Ja'kob (15) is a new artist, real name Jakob Viberg-Dahl. He's a guitarist and son of Karl Morten Dahl (Antipole).
Portuguese musician Pedro Code (The Dream Collision, The Ending Nights and IAMTHESHADOW). The artistic influences of Pedro Code are varied and navigate the blackest and sharpest sounds of the 80s. His main project is IAMTHESHADOW. Pedro has done multiple remixes with Antipole including Vandal Moon, Nürnberg and R.Missing.
