"My Cyanide" is coming out of The Flower Cartel's debut album. "Dark Potraits", released in February 2024,  a debut that depicts the underground nature of project and J.H, balancing in alternative blend of genres and built on dark wave, synth pop and gothic ambience.

The lead single is carefully crafted, with a deep, resonant bassline and crisp, electronic beats that drive the track forward. The Flower Cartel’s ability to channel the essence of synth pop legends while maintaining a fresh, modern edge sets this song apart. Lyrically, the track explores themes of toxicity and emotional turmoil, with the refrain "My Cyanide" serving as a dark metaphor for a destructive love.

J.H. says about "My Cyanide": "This is the lead song of my debut album Dark Portraits. It’s a darkwave song about mental health with a retro gothic dance vibe to it."

The Flower Cartel is the solo project of Danish producer, multi instrumentalist, singer and songwriter, J.H. The one man band was founded in February 2023 as an outlet for J.H to release music without compromising his artistic vision, making music that drastically deviates from his past work in former musical constellations. The music of The Flower Cartel is often characterized as dark, driven and melancholic with gothic undertones, taking inspiration from the synth pop, post punk and New Romantics bands of the late 70s and 80s as well as dark wave and dream pop groups of more modern times.
