Dark, melancholic, modern electro, synth pop from LMX in the new single "Blame"!

A really nice surprise when I pressed "Play" and the new single "Blame" from LMX started! I felt this could be the dark, gloomy synth-pop as it should be played by the new generation artists and like coming from the future! LMX delivers a melodic synth-pop track that combines some of the pillar elements of electronic and synth sounds with futuristic, electrified ideas in arrangement that balances between wave, romantic ambient and dance dark pop, while vocals-wise there is an addictive and hypnotic tone!! "Blame" is a captivating dive into the world of synth-pop and ambient electro, delivering an infectious blend of pulsating beats and ethereal melodies. The track opens with a driving bassline, mid-tempo beats and shimmering synths that immediately set an energetic and engaging tone.

"Blame" effortlessly merges nostalgic 80s influences with contemporary electro-pop elements. keeps a hypnotic dance tempo that can make you move with eyes closed and let the sounds and voice of Luis Maximilian Schmechta emotionally charged, drag you into his sedative soundscape! LMX – born 2003 – is no one else than the youngest son of well known musician and producer Sevren Ni-Arb (e.g. X MARKS THE PEDWALK, SN-A). When he was 12, LMX started to compose first music tracks just on his mobile devices. Later he built up a small recording studio in his room. LMX is continuously working on new material. With a fascinating unique mix of trap, wave, ambient electro and synth pop LMX is pushing the boundaries of electronic music. After his debut album „Dimension Shift“ (2019) and the follow up albums „CTRL+S“ (2021) and „Habits & Addictions“ (2022), his new Digital EP „Rehab“ will be released in august 2024.

LMX's "Blame" is taken out of his new EP, "Rehab" with seven new songs. It’s darker and more powerful than his previous three albums as he faces inner conflicts and explores the ambivalence of moral convictions and religious motives. The modern synth-pop fascinates with complex electronic soundscapes. Powerful beats, driving bass lines, floating synths and stirring melodies carry LMX’s unique voice. At times dark and melancholic, at times grueling and hopeful, LMX takes us into a moving and emotional chaos. Musically rooted in the 80s, “Rehab” also points the way to the future of electro sound.
