Psyclon Nine release new single, "I Choose Violence"!
"I Choose Violence" is out on Friday, December 13th, via Metropolis Records!
A while after the successful "Less To Heaven" released in 2022 and its companion "More To Hell" (2023) one of the most infamous yet successful bands of the industrial scenes and the metal crossover, Psyclon Nine, returns with an all new single, "I Choose Violence".
"I Choose Violence" is the first single from the the new album coming up by the cult US based act, Psyclon Nine! Using their unique approach in "industrial meets metal meets trip-hop" and their industrial rock, deathcore, ambient and trap techniques and elements, they deliver a haunting trip into darkened paths and creepy landscapes.
"I Choose Violence" blends brutality and atmosphere, with intense riffs and rough vocals colliding against haunting electronic textures while its rhythmic shifts create a chaotic yet controlled energy.
Psyclon Nine's mastermind Nero Bellum states: "I specifically set out to break as many genre limitations as possible with this song, while staying true to the concepts and imagery that Psyclon Nine evokes. Lyrically, it’s a reflection of the world we live in. An anthem for the unseen and unheard."
The founders of the blackened industrial sub-genre will headline a 22 date North American "Devils Work" tour commencing on 31st January 2025, while there are plans to tour Europe later in the year.
Since their kick off, back in 2020, Psyclon Nine have charted internationally with their seven full-length releases appearing in the Top 10 of the DAC (Germany) and Top 200 Billboard Rock Chart (USA). A substantial dedicated fanbase has been built via regular international touring that has included European festivals such as Dark Malta, Castle Party (Poland) and four appearances at Wave Gotik Treffen (Germany), each to audiences of 30,000+ fans.
