Deathbed expands their lineup and sound, delivering a powerful and emotionally charged EP, "Dissipate"!

The dark electronic project Deathbed officially returns with their fourth and most evocative EP to date, "Dissipate," which saw its release on December 5, 2025. A band we have proudly followed since their emergence in 2018, Deathbed is deepening their sonic exploration, moving from a duo into a dynamic trio that has resulted in a soundscape richer and more emotionally complex than ever before. Ion Solounias and Aggelos Mastrantonis have joined forces with guitar riffs of Stamatis Zafeiropoulos who enriches the sound of the project and deepens their dark ambience.

"Dissipate" is a collection of three tracks which lead to a profound sonic experience that captures the ephemeral nature of existence and feeling. Three tracks that adopt darkness while highlight the new paths in th Deathbed's sound and in Aggelos's vocal approach. The EP delivers a potent blend of brooding, dark electronics and post-punk grit, elevated by the unique fuse of intelligent instrumentation.

Starting with the same titled track, "Dissipate", Deathbed delivers a high-energy and desperate darkwave track that captures the feeling of fading, built with controlled electronics, strong bass lines and deep guitar chords creating an intense soundscape! The vocals completes the heavy emotion delivered with despair and anger. "Silent" moves to the synthesized parts of Deathbed world focused on sharp guitar textures and heavy bass sequencing. The synth lines manage to keep the balance between the classic industrial-goth elements and a modern electronic edge. "Absence Of Light" completes the puzzle of "Dissipate" delivering a remarkable combination of guitar-focused arrangements with the intense rhythm created by the beats, the bass and the arps.

Deathbed comments on new EP: ""Deathbed are back with a 3-song EP, this time with a more direct, less polished and a rather electric than electronic approach. With "Dissipate" the guitar is driven to the foreground while their signature relentless arpeggiators and drum beats are intertwined with lively and emotional vocal performances."

All music on Dissipate was written and performed by the members of Deathbed. The emotional weight of the lyrics is primarily crafted by Aggelos Mastrantonis, with the track "Absence of Light" showcasing a joint lyrical effort with Ion Solounias.
