Hardvision is one of the most exciting new projects shaping the Athens rave scene. Emerging as a response to the city’s growing underground demand, it has quickly built a reputation for monthly events in unique, often unconventional venues, from multi-stage clubs to residential buildings and repurposed theaters.

Each Hardvision event is designed as a unique experience, transforming spaces and pushing the sound towards harder, darker techno territories. But more than the parties themselves, Hardvision is about community, a platform dedicated to amplifying local voices, offering artists creative freedom, and bringing Athens’ fragmented rave collectives under one roof.

Unlike many club projects, Hardvision doesn’t rely on resident DJs. Instead, it functions as an open arena, embracing a rotating roster of artists and crews. That fluidity allows each showcase to feel unique.

The October 4 showcase at Black Temple highlights this concept by putting the spotlight exclusively on Greek producers. It’s a night where Athens’ talent takes center stage, showing how powerful and diverse the city’s techno culture has become.

The driving force behind Hardvision is Alisa Murphy, DJ, producer, and founder of the project. Ahead of the showcase, she shared with ElektroSpank the ideas and inspirations that gave birth to Hardvision:

"Hardvision was born from an inner need — a spark that ignites every time I see new creators fighting for space and a voice. The Athens rave scene is full of energy, but often the freshest ideas get drowned out. I wanted to build a platform that acts as a beacon: uniting, showcasing, and supporting those who don’t always get heard, but who have something real to say through their music."

"When it comes to selecting artists, instinct comes first." Alisa says. "I look for DJs and producers who carry passion, authenticity, and a personal story within their sound. The goal is always to feel that a set is more than just beats, it’s a narrative. Collaborations are built on mutual respect and curiosity. It’s not about a simple invitation; it’s a dialogue."

As for the Black Temple Showcase Alisa Murphy says:"This night is designed as a celebration of local strength. Expect raw energy, heavy textures, and sets that will push sound boundaries. Every producer will step on stage knowing the venue belongs to them, with complete freedom to experiment. Surprises are in store, but what matters most is that the audience will leave with a sense of having witnessed something unforgettable.

Looking forward, Alisa is clear about her ambitions: "The vision is for Hardvision to become a moving community, not just an event. Expansion to other cities and collaborations with international artists are part of the plan, but the heart will always remain in Athens."

With eight acts, October 4 will be a snapshot of Athens’ underground energy in 2025. Black Temple will become a place of sound where acid meets industrial, schranz meets experimental textures, and where every artist will contribute to a shared rave experience.
