Antipole releases new single "Marble"!
The elegant cold/dark wave of Antipole is back with "Marble", out on January 8th!
Antipole released their new single, "Marble" in a 4-track version. The project of Karl Morten Dahl from Norway, once again, present their perspective of the dark wave sound, using their well known sharp guitars, combined with beautiful electronic arrangements and melodies. Next to Karl Morten Dahl is his music partner, Paris Alexander with the result being, once again, perfect.
"Marble" adds another chapter in Antipole's collection bringing the cold Norwegian ambience into the dark wave, post-punk influences of Dahl. The single comes with two more tracks, "Narcisus ft Paris Alexander" and "Someday 45 ft Paris Alexander", which were, both, first heard in Northern Flux album, in 2017, here in an edit and an extended version. Keeping the same cold lines and the sad, dark sound of the guitar that marked their sound in Northern Flux, Antipole offers a new side of the two tracks.
"Marble" is also giving us a really interesting remix of the same titled track into dark, minimal electronica and almost dark techno version, by the Belarusian post-punk, Molchat Doma. A unique touch into Antipole's sound. The Norwegian project's post-punk sound is perfectly blended with the Belarusian's trio electro dance beats and synths.
