MUSIC FOR ORDINARY LIFE MACHINES documentary is in Athens International Film Festival.

MUSIC FOR ORDINARY LIFE MACHINES, the film for the kids that loved synthesizers, is finally, coming to Athens.

The successful documentary about minimal synthwave and synth-punk scene in Greece, is included in the movies and documentaries of Athens International Film Festival and will be on screen, on Thursday, September 26th, at Odeon Opera cinema.

From Horis Perideraio and ANTI to Human Puppets and Regressverbot. From In Trance 95 and Alive She Died to Selofan and Doric. Minimal synth, synth-punk and other “analog” stories, through a short account of the underground synth sound in Greece. A movie about the guys who loved the synthesizers.

We have, already, said some things about this beautiful effort produced by Press Eject And Give Me The Tape, Nick Chantzis and a great crew and contributors, earlier this year, while MFOLM was in other film festivals, mostly in Thessaloniki. After the huge success in several screenings, all those who love the underground, synth-punk and minimal synthwave scene in Greece, and did not have the chance to watch it before, must be in Odeon Opera theater.

MFOLM will make you feel nostalgic from the very first scenes. The stories told in this documentary are amazing, some of them unknown to many of us, until now. Including the most important bands and artists of the synth scene in Greece, from the 80's until nowadays, you will make you stay in your seat until the end, or even dance while listening to an incredible soundtrack. The dancing part will be taken care lately, though, during the afterparty, right after the screening, in Teddy Boy Bar, Athens with Dj set by Amor Industrial, Doric, Fabrika Team, George Ginis, Alex Machairas & Sanity Assassin.
