Melt Motif & Processor - Lizard
Melt Motif and Processor released a new single "Lizard"!
Melt Motif, the experimental outfit from Norway and Brazil, alongside Processor, delivers a compelling piece with "Lizard." "Lizad" is a clever, sentimental work in electro, alternative, synth, and dark music, balancing between sonic boundaries with ease. Born from Kenneth Rasmus Greve's vision, amplified by Rakel's captivating vocals and Joe Irente's production, their sound is truly distinct.
I have been listening to "Lizard" and exploring the world Melt Motif for some time now, and I have to admit that they are, easily, one of the bands that I am really happy to have crossed with! Their singles and albums are truly unique works, cleverly and masterfully blending elements of beloved genres and artists, flawlessly going from emotional electro and synthpop to heavy industrial and noise rock.
"Lizard" showcases the band's signature blend of diverse influences, building upon the critical acclaim of their full length albums, "A White Horse Will Take You Home" and "Particles. Death Objective". It’s a proof to their evolution, weaving detailed electronic textures with a unique fascination. Rakel's vocal performance is particularly notable, adding an mystical quality to the dark soundscape.
The collaboration with Processor enriches the track's industrial undertones, creating a deeply hypnotic and agitating experience. An exquisitely designed sound that defies easy categorization, resonating with fans of Portishead or Nine Inch Nails. "Lizard" encapsulates Melt Motif's commitment to avant-garde artistry and their genre-bending approach. It’s a powerful, atmospheric walk through the darker paths of electronic alternative sound.
