The style of Ekranoplan is a mix of Krautrock, Kosmische Music, Post-Punk, Carpenter, Morricone and Tangerine Dream’s soundtracks, electro à la Kraftwerk, electronic New Wave à la Fad Gadget, Madchester, '70s Battiato, early Front 242 and DAF, 88/89 Hacienda-like Acid and Psychedelia The debut album, Deutsch-Italienische Freundschaft is out on the newly formed FECT records, distributed by Goodfellas.
