Electronic Energy and Dark Pop Return to Athens: Solar Fake with Seadrake and Empire In Dust at Death Disco!
Solar Fake returns to Athens, Greece for one show!
On Saturday, November 1st, 2025, Solar Fake (DE) will once again perform on stage at Death Disco for a powerful performance filled with electronic energy, dark pop aesthetics, and intense emotion. Sven Friedrich's powerful electro project is making its anticipated return to Greece to captivate us into a night filled with passion, rhythm, and intensity.
Solar Fake stands as one of the most significant bands in the European dark electro/synthpop scene. Formed in 2007 by Sven Friedrich (also known from Dreadful Shadows and Zeraphine), the project has maintained a constantly growing ever since. Their sound skillfully merges the elements of melodic synthpop with the aggression of EBM and industrial,developing a signature sound that is simultaneously danceable and emotionally charged.
With excellent releases such as "Another Manic Episode", "You Win. Who Cares?", and the recent "Don't Push This Button", they have confirmed their status as one of the genre's influential acts. Their live shows are explosive, with Sven Friedrich leading the audience through an intense musical experience. Solar Fake has performed at major festivals like M'era Luna, Amphi, and Wave-Gotik-Treffen, and has toured extensively across Europe, and beyond.
Providing excellent support for the night are the Swedish/German duo Seadrake and the German act Empire In Dust.
Seadrake features Rickard Gunarrson (Lowe, Statemachine) and Matthias Thurk (ex-Minerve), with Sir Boyfriend as their guest vocalist. They share a close connection with Solar Fake, having toured together in both 2019 and 2022.
Empire In Dust is the dynamic duo created by producer and vocalist Manuel Mundt. Manuel describes their music as a blend of future pop, EBM, darkwave, and synth rock. They have released the album "A Place To Rest" and their new work, titled "Riven", is highly anticipated for release within 2025.
